Exposed Aggregate

Exposed aggregate is a new paving product that is increasing in popularity due to its unique look and low maintenance. Combining grey, cream or coloured concrete with various decorative stones exposed aggregate offers strength and durability.

Stamped Concrete

Stamped Impression Concrete is designed to simulate stone, slate or even wood offering a distinctive stylish alternative to conventional concrete or paving methods.

Stencil Concrete

Stencil Pattern Concrete is a system of adding colour, pattern and texture to a plain concrete slab. This concrete finish is stylish, strong and incredibly versatile.

Colour Thru For Concrete

Colour Thru for concrete is a high quality pigment that is mixed into concrete prior to pouring. This gives a depth of colour throughout the entire laid slab allowing for long term colour performance, even if surface scuffing or chipping occurs.

Stencilled Concrete

Stencil Pattern Concrete combines the unbeatable durability of concrete with the distinctive architectural appeal of traditional brick, cobblestone pavers or tiles.

A high quality disposable stencil is used for creating different decorative effects. Stenciled concrete is very similar to stamped concrete. The important difference is that this process utilizes disposable paper stencils to impart the pattern instead of rubber mats. Stencils for concrete come in a wide array of patterns. Because the stencils mask off the underlying surface, they leave behind realistic "mortar joints" the colour of the gray concrete base.

By applying a dry-shake color hardener to the exposed concrete before stencil removal, you'll get the appearance of individual stones, tiles or bricks that have been mortared together. After the concrete sets sufficiently, the crack control joints are saw cut, and the slab is cleaned and sealed.

Re-surfacing your existing concrete driveway is an effective way to totally change its look and feel. Stencil Pattern Concrete allows you to customise your look by creating eye catching special designs, company logos or monograms. Choose from a wide selection of contemporary colours and patterns that are available, allowing you to create the look you want and rejuvenate your existing concrete.

Decorative Concrete's stencils are designed to incorporate superior performance and durability to withstand the harsh Australian conditions. Colours and patterns can be seen through both CP Stampcrete and DT Fauxtex Range.

Design Tip: Emphasising the edging in your design allows you to add another colour dimension to your project. It allows you to blend the colours of your external facade beautifully with your surrounding environment. Add a Colour Thru colour in your concrete and place your stencil pattern on top to create a monotone colour look.

Stamped Concrete

Stamped concrete is the process of adding texture and color to concrete to make it resemble stone, brick, slate, cobblestone and many other products found in nature including wood, fossils, shells and many more. This limitless array of possibilities combined with great durability and lower cost than natural products makes Stamped Concrete an easy choice for new construction and renovation projects.

The installation consists of pressing molds into the concrete while the concrete is still in its plastic state. Color is achieved by using Dry Shakes or Color Hardeners, Powder or Liquid Releases, Integral Colors or Acid Stains. All these products may be combined to create even more intricate designs.

Stamped Concrete may be used on driveways, patios, commercial roads and parking lots and even interior floors.

Stamped Impression Concrete is ideal for newly placed driveways, carports, entertainment areas, pool surrounds, patios, paths and other pavement areas. Proven world wide as a winner for its durability, competitive pricing, speed of application and added aesthetic value, Stamped Impression Concrete will create a lasting impression!

The Decorative Concrete system involves the application of colour, pattern and texture to a plain concrete slab at the time of pouring. Stamped Impression Concrete can increase the abrasive and compressive strength up to twice that of normal concrete when colour hardeners are used.

Rubber imprinting tools stamps are impressed into thin pre-mixed concrete overlay material to create natural stone or brick textures. These rubber imprinting tools are manufactured from molds created from authentic stone or wood. Release agents are used to help release the stamps from the concrete without sticking. Release agents come in either a liquid or powder form.

Colours and patterns can be seen through both CP Stampcrete and DT Fauxtex Range below.

Design tip: combining stamp mats will allow you to create a unique look. If you wish to create a stamped impression look on a driveway with a steep incline or sloping sight, we recommend using a finish with a textured slip resistant surface.

Colour Thru Concrete

Concrete "dyes" take many different forms and compositions and can be used on both residential and commercial concrete applications, including sound/retaining walls, bridges, countertops, floors, etc.

Early concrete dyes consisted of generic printing inks that were dissolved in mild solutions of alcohol and applied to concrete surfaces to add a wide array of color to plain gray concrete. When alcohol-based dyes are exposed to sunlight, the color either lightens or fades out completely. Therefore, alcohol-based dyes were more prevalent in interior applications where direct sunlight or other forms of ultraviolet (UV) lighting was not present.Manufacturers later began dissolving the same printing inks in different carriers, such as acetone, lacquer thinner and other solvents, hoping to achieve increased penetration levels. In addition, UV inhibiting agents were added to new dyes to help with the UV instability issues. However, slight fading (5-8% per year) still occurs when the dye is exposed to direct sunlight.

Colour Thru Concrete may be used in pool surroundings, entertaining areas and driveways both small and large. It is also suitable for adding decorative appeal to a range of finishes such as exposed aggregate, mortar and render.

Colour Thru Concrete will give full depth colour throughout your entire slab as it is manufactured from high quality inorganic oxides. Colour Thru pigments are of high tint strength which offers maximum UV resistance creating colours that last.

Choose your favourite colour from a wide range of natural and pastel colours to create a distinctive look for your lifestyle. Unique designs are achievable with additional application of stencil patterns, header courses, stamp mats or different texture applications.

Design Tip: Use a Colour Thru colour in your concrete and place your stencil pattern on top to give you a more natural look which blends in with your surroundings.
